Hey
Everybody!
This past week has
been crazy! With church being canceled and the CoronaVirus, it seems as if
Armageddon is approaching and the world is ending. In the chaos of it all, In
the center of it all I know that if we establish our foundation upon
Jesus Christ we need not fear!
remember, remember that it is upon the arock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the
Son of God, that ye must build your bfoundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his
shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty cstorm shall beat upon you, it shall have no
power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because
of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation
whereon if men build they cannot fall.
In the eye of
the storm is where we find peace. Even through all these "whirlwind"
changes are affecting the very way we live, there are peaceful moments that
testify to us that God is in control, and that he loves us. One of these
moments was the wonderful opportunity we had as a companionship to take the
sacrament to a family of our ward. As we read the sacramental prayers, an
overwhelming peace and comfort came over me and seemed to say "I got you.
I love you." God is so wonderful he has given us the tools we need to
bring his presence to our homes. How blessed are we as members to be able to
hold a sacramental service in the very walls of our own home! That we have the
power and authority to do so. How great is our God that he has given us
the very tools that we may teach our families through Come Follow Me. How
Wonderful is it that we are Guided by a Prophet called of God! I know
that as we prepare ourselves for this upcoming conference and serve our
neighbors we will be blessed. If we look for those peaceful moments, we will
see God's hand in our lives. If we build upon Christ, no matter what comes, we
will be okay!
I love you all!
Love Elder
Snow
