Hey Everyone March 18, 2019
So
this week was a little bit slower than normal but we were able to go with a lot
of cool investigators. On Wednesday we were able to go help an investigator
bedazzle pants with gems. it requires lining up each stone and then ironing it
for 2mins, when we got to her house we saw the 750 pairs of pants and realized
she needed help. I think we helped her do about 100 pants before we left for
another cita. It was interesting, I never realized how many places and people
our pants pass before they are in our hands. It really makes me realize how
lucky we are to not have to set up a factory in our home to be able to live. It
is truly humbling to see some of the things and way of living that people have
here in Mexico. Despite their circumstances, the people are absolutely
amazing.
So update on Fabis,
this week we went to her house and we were talking when all of the sudden she
was like "Okay, look one of my friends called me and told me they were
going to send me a link and that I should look at it." and I was flipin
out a bit. She continued, "It was about the book of Mormon.... and I read
all of it." They friend texted her back and said: now you know the truth
of it. Fabis called her friend back and told this guy off!! She told him that
he has no room to be talking because he has never read the book, even a single
page, or felt the goodness of it. She also told him that if he truly wanted to
know the truth he would read the book of Mormon, she then testified that she
knew the book of Mormon was true because she had read it and had felt in her
heart. This honestly made me so happy, to have helped someone gain a strong
enough testimony to withstand anti-Mormon literature attacks. she told us you
can’t go to war with out prepping for it hahha. It was awesome.
LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
Thanks for all the support and prayers and emails!
Love you all!
