Week 36: April 2-8, 2019 Three C's (Conference, Confirmation, Cambios)

Hey Everyone,                                                                                       April 8, 2019

So, this past week was a blast, it was the last week of the cycle which means it was crazy.
We had interviews on Wednesday with the president and then came to Zacualtipan for our district class as well. After we had the class we set out to find a baptismal font because we do not have one anywhere near Zacualtipan. We had heard of people talking about this pool close to Cacala an area 20 mins away by foot. we went looking for this spring and were terribly lost. We had prayed for directions of where to go, we finally came to this compound that we felt to go into. Mind you this was in the middle of nowhere surrounded by towering trees. We realized that maybe we shouldn´t have come in here when this man shouted to us to come over to him. We went and talked to him and he asked us about his compound and he told he was Rey Vera, The owner of Zacualtipan. He has several pant factories (HUGE ONEs) owns all the ice cream stores and is making this compound for chicken fights and peach tree growing. He was very kind to us and told one of his "servants," to go and take us to a beautiful spot for a baptism. I know we got lost for a reason because if we had not we would have never found this beautiful place to host a baptism.
So, God does work in mysterious ways. The sister and daughter of Fabis were able to enjoy the covenant of baptism and be confirmed after general conference in front of the majority of the Rama. It was a super special moment for me as well because I was able to confirm both of these wonderful ladies as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and bless them with the Gift of the Holy Ghost. There was a special spirit in the room especially after such a heavenly message of Conference. (which was absolutely amazing, I cannot wait to study their words in the following weeks.)
After this we received a call from our zone leaders telling me I am leaving to serve in Actopan with Elder Vasquez. He is from Oaxaca and is super cool!
Thank you all for your prayers and love!

Love Elder Snow
