Hey
Everybody!
This week has been
super awesome, we have been reaping our efforts from the past few weeks we have
a ton of new investigators with so much potential. I am so happy with where I
am in the mission. I truly know my heavenly father loves me so much. He truly hopes
the best for each and every one of us. The previous fast Sunday my companion
and I fasted to have our Heavenly Father's help with finding new people to
teach. We have been seeking his guidance to know where to cast our nets and we
are pulling back loads too big for our ships if you know what I mean. I truly
cannot believe how much we have been able to see God's hand this past week in
our work.
On Sunday during the
sacrament, I started to ponder about why church is important to me. I started
to think of reasons why, and like any Church Member, I go to church because I
can renew my covenants! But what does this even mean? Well, what are
covenants? They are promises we make with God. But why are these Promises so
important to me. From that I really started to think deeper than the Primary
answers. After pondering for a few minutes, I came to realize that through my
covenants I become like and receive the power of Christ. Because of Christ, I
can overcome every trial, repent and be made clean, I can be happy, have an
eternal family, escape the darkness Satan tries to bind me with. Because of
Christ, I can do all things. I know that through attending church, we receive
Christ and his power. Through the Sacred ordinance of the sacrament, we become
like him. So, I'll ask you all; why does going to church matter to you?
