Hey
Everyone
This
past week was such a blast and we were able to get a lot of work in and stuff
done! First things first, we had an awesome baptism this week with a little
girl named Andrea! It was honestly a really cool experience to clean the
chapel before hand. We got there early to fill up the font in time for
the baptism and noticed that it wasn't as clean as it could be. So we got
straight to work sweeping, moping and all other types of things. As we
cleaned I realized how grateful I am that we can become clean from sin
through our Savior Jesus Christ. Because of Him we have the ability to return
the presence of our father and mother in heaven.
Andrea ́s Mother and
Father came separately on a motorcycle to save money and also because 5
people can't always fit on bike (even though sometimes it does happen here in
Mexico.) On the way to the chapel due to the heavy rains, the
motorcycle slid and they hit the grand pretty hard. Even Though they had
crashed the picked up their bike again and continued to the chapel. It was
pretty impressive to me because even through the pain of a nasty crash the
family pulled through to show their devotion to their Heavenly father and
daughter. Her father baptized her and the ordinance went smoothly! I was
so glad to see this baptism.
I just want to bear my
testimony of our heavenly father's light and love. He is mindful of us and
knows our needs and desires our happiness, he wants to bless and guide us. When
we need his help he will be there. Looking back on my entire life I feel so
blessed to have had so many wonderful people who have blessed and encouraged me
to be better and do better! Thanks for all of you!
Love you all,
Elder Snow
