Week 46: June 11-17, 2019 Temple Turn It Up

Hey Everyone                                                                                    June 17, 2019

Arise, and get thee into the mountain. And it came to pass that I arose and went up into the mountain and cried unto the Lord.
-1 nefi 17:7
So I had a really great trip to the temple this past Tuesday. As an incentive to work harder to invite more to be baptized, our mission president set a goal of 100 baptisms for the month of May. Not only did we accomplish this goal, but we were also able to achieve even more! This was truly a miracle because only a few months ago our mission had 9 stakes, we donated two of our stakes to another mission. Before this month the largest number this mission has ever achieved is 109 baptism in one month, This May we were able to help 122 people follow the example of Jesus Christ and be Baptized! It honestly dropped my jaw, none of us thought that this was possible, It was so amazing to see that with the power of God, we can do all things! Well, after a two-hour bus ride to the temple we were able to see the entire half mission dressed in white for a session in the temple. It was an absolutely amazing experience. It was such a great spiritual recharge. In the house of the Lord, you truly can communicate with him and feel his love. Visit the temple, and feel his peace, serve in his house! Not only will you serve others but edify your own testimony as well! Even if you’re not able to go inside just being on the grounds can be a beautiful experience!
Love you all,

LOVE ELDER SNOW

(He talked to Dad on Sunday for Father's day and told a story about standing behind a dump truck just as it was about to crush what was in the back.  Needless to say he was when it crushed its contents Elder Snow was a tad to close and he got sprayed with grease and it ruined everything he was wearing.  He hopefully learned not to do that, and won't be standing within squirting distance of a dump truck.  GROSS)
